Sound Profile | Focused Resonance / Warm Attack / Full Body

This 1-of-1 bespoke snare represents our handcrafted research process from recent years. We utilized a Stave construction, paired with an extreme shell thickness of 18mm.

The "Sculpted Shell" initially began as a visual experiment, but it ultimately evolved into a defining piece of our ongoing research into shell shaping. Interestingly, its air hole is simply a natural void inherently present within the wood itself.
The fundamental characteristic of a Stave Shell is its highly focused resonance. As our designer perfectly describes it: "The sound punches straight out from the center."

This snare encapsulates our designer’s hands-on R&D journey around 2020. Local friends are welcome to book an appointment to test its sound in our studio, while international players can acquire our 1-of-1 series via the upcoming webstore.

Each custom build is a physical record of our ongoing exploration of the senses.

1. 天然木材與塗裝｜The Living Material

我們選用天然木材，這意味著每一件產品都擁有獨一無二的靈魂。

獨特性 (Uniqueness)： 每件木質產品的紋理與色澤皆由自然生成。你收到的實品紋路與照片必有差異，這正是手工工藝與天然材質最美的地方。
自然演變 (Aging & Patina)： 木材是會「呼吸」的材料。隨時間推移、光照、環境濕度變化以及頻繁的使用，木材色澤會逐漸產生自然的「熟成」變化。這不是瑕疵，而是這件產品與你共同累積的歲月痕跡。
清潔 (Cleaning)： 僅需使用柔軟的乾微纖維布擦拭表面灰塵。切勿使用化學溶劑或噴蠟，以免破壞木材表面的天然塗層。

2. 金屬硬件｜The Precision Engine

硬件是確保打擊反饋與精準度的關鍵組件。

防氧化 (Oxidation)： 金屬表面（如 Lugs, Hoops, Trigger Parts）在潮濕環境或接觸汗水後可能產生自然氧化。建議在使用後，用乾布擦拭金屬部分，去除酸性物質，以保持其光澤。
潤滑 (Maintenance)： 針對螺絲與活動關節，建議定期使用極少量的專業潤滑油，確保機械結構的順暢與精準度。

3. 鼓具整體保養｜The Lifespan

為了確保你的 drummapdesign 作品能伴隨你進行長年的感官探索：

環境控制 (Humidity Control)： 建議將產品存放於相對濕度穩定（45%-55%）的環境中。
極端溫度 (Temperature)： 避免將鼓具長時間放置於高溫的車內或受陽光直射的地方。極端的溫差會損害木材的結構完整性。
定期檢查 (Regular Checking)： 定期檢查所有螺絲的鬆緊度。合適的安裝與正確的調音，不只能保護鼓具，更能延續其最佳的音色回饋。
